Anti Aging Skin Treatment The Non-Invasive Way

anti aging skin treatment Anti Aging Skin Treatment The Non Invasive WayIn the race against time, time always comes out the winner. That doesn’t mean that you can’t give it a run for its money, though. It all comes down to how well you can stave off the signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles. Of course, surgery can accomplish that, but not all of us want to wind up under the knife. So, let’s look at some non-invasive anti aging skin treatment options, instead.

Surface Treatments:

The best non-invasive anti-aging treatments are topical treatments that come as gels or creams. Since they are only surface treatments, they have to be re-applied often. That’s the bad news. The good news is that such treatments don’t hurt. They’re also very convenient to use. In fact, you can apply them yourself right in the comfort of your own house. There’s no need to go into a doctor’s office or consult with a surgeon each time. However, you may need a prescription from the doctor to get the anti aging face creams or gels in the first place.

Types Of Cream:

There are a few different types of skin cream that could help you. One is a cream containing glycolic acid. It can exfoliate your skin, removing debris and dead skin cells. If you’re going to use such a cream, though, you need to be aware of two things.

First, they come in different strength levels. So, you should probably start off at a lower strength and work up, if needed. Your doctor or dermatologist should take care of that. Also, you need to keep in mind that glycolic acid makes your skin more sensitive to the sun. So, you should probably use the cream at night right before bed and try to protect your skin from the sun as much as possible.

Retin-A is another major ingredient that can be found in that these types of anti aging skin treatments. It can reduce acne and has also been shown to clear up skin blotches and fade out wrinkle lines. Retin-A creams have to be used regularly for a long time, such as a year or more. They can also come with some side effects, especially at first. Those can include burning, itching and dry skin. So, talk to your dermatologist about it if you experience any of those problems.

Wait For It:

For the most part, the non-invasive methods above don’t act fast. Generally, they take a long time and require a lot of patience, in fact. So, if you want a good result you have to be willing to wait for it.

On the other hand though, you do have another fairly easy option. It’s called microdermabrasion. It involves a machine that uses suction and abrasion to exfoliate your skin in a more immediate fashion. It doesn’t take long at all and you should notice immediate results. It also doesn’t usually hurt at all. So, it’s certainly another fairly non-invasive anti aging skin treatment to consider.
